Our Achievements

  1. Conducted inter Religious prayer by Hindus, Muslims and Christians and convened peace meetings viz Vinayagar Chathurthi, Ramjan fasting / IFTHAR party and Good Friday etc. from 1990 to 2014.
  2. Offered family counseling to 50,863 (Fifty thousand eight hundred sixty three) families on problems between husband and wife, children & family members, eve teasing etc.
  3. Conducted 800 blood Donor’s motivation camps and enrolled One Lakh donor’s. 125 blood donors’ clubs newly established.
  4. Provided Training on Road safety & patrolling and first aid given to 1800 (One Thousand Eight Hundred) students every year. These activities reduced 50% accidents in Tirunelveli city.
  5. Tamil Nadu Police Traffic warden 100 volunteers were trained by the police in traffic signals, regulating traffic jam night rounds, para during VIP visits, students strike, public rally and festival times. Everyday 6 to 9 peak hours traffic jams released. Helped the aged and blind people to cross the road.
  6. From 1999 to 2012 rendered free service to the nation by regulating traffic. It is 13 years / 2600 days / 7800 hours.
  7. Our traffic warden attended more than 500 accidents and saved many lives
  8. Our founder A.Jamel Mohamed Yeesa wrote “Å¡ú쨸 Å¡úžüÌ” “Life is to live” on Tamil Murasu, an evening News paper for 52 weeks.
  9. Delivered speech on Heart Blessing information on every Tuesday for the past 13 years in The Rotary club of suburbs Tirunelveli 3212.
  10. Conducted 375 free Medical Camps
  11. Organized human chain programme with police and public of all religions.
  12. Organized friends of police meetings in all colleges, schools, welfare association of all areas & women’s group.
  13. Planted Trees in various areas in the city.
  14. Conducted AIDS awareness programme like rally by students & public and distributed condoms, pamphlets etc
  15. Conducted Human Rights Meeting for students and consumer Awareness programme to the public.
  16. 25 study centers formed in rural areas for the poor and Literacy Adult education and inter religious meetings were conducted
  17. From 1998 to 2002 in sincere working women’s hostels tailoring, leadership programme, inter religious programme, seminars, family counseling to the inmates, widows and teen agers etc. were organized.
  18. During Natural calamities like Orissa floods, Gujarath earth quake, Tsunami our organization helped the victims by distributing clothes, food, cooking utensils and medicines.
  19. Donated Rs. 10,000/- during Gargil war and this was collected by cycling to 50 villages.
  20. Our volunteers donated 10,000/- units of blood every year and nobody died for want of blood.
  21. Rendered help for heart surgeries, cancer, Thalasemia, and Hemophilies.
  22. Rescued 15 babies thrown in streets & roads and admitted them in shelters.
  23. Arranged voters awareness programme and literacy awareness programme.
  24. Arranged rehabilitation to raped girls for their education, health and lively good.
  25. Organized NSS programme, blood donation, leadership, Human resources development, Road safety, management of de addiction and other programme in all colleges, schools, engineering colleges, I.T.I etc.,
  26. Under took Mahatma Gandhi Thandi yatra from Tirunelveli to Tiruchendur on the eve of 75 th Anniversary on National Integration programme by A.Jamal Mohamed Yeesa.
  27. Our activities are supported by Rotary club, Lions Club, Red Cross society, red Ribbon club, Inner wheel club, women’s self help group etc
